Mr. Dug

My first exposure to the fire arts was at Burning Man in 2003. I was mesmerized. It’s exactly what my parents told me not to do (don’t play with fire) and it looked fun! But I considered it something that “other people” did. After attending several smaller related events I started wondering what exactly differentiated me from those “other people”. So in the summer of 2006 I decided I’d give it a shot and picked up a pair of fire poi. I instantly became addicted, put in countless hours of practice and continue to learn and try new things.
